Wellington Parkway Vol. 2 Major Renovation in Bethany Beach DE
These clients wanted to illuminate and modernize the large interior of their 1970s home and introduce a “Beachier” theme since it’s just 1 block from the Atlantic Ocean. Existing stained doors and trims were replaced with 3 panel Solid Core brightly painted doors, craftsman style casings, base and window moldings. Existing wallpaper and popcorn ceilings were replaced with smooth painted surfaces.

Seriously fun steps! Dressing up and adding flair to these otherwise drab, carpeted stairs presented an interesting challenge to the design and construction team.
Before:
These custom, handmade wood tiles, made from re-claimed Teakwood, were carefully procured and set. Each tile was hand painted and patterned to create the colorful stair risers shown below. Our installers took extraordinary care in placing the wooden tiles following the design pattern given. An industrial wooden and stainless steel handrail beautifully completed this unique staircase to our clients delight.
Bedroom before and after
Completing the home’s transformation was the ground floor garage conversion to a game room which included brightly colored Polyaspartic flooring.
