This beach home renovation transformed an outdated 1985 house into a coveted bayside retreat for these homeowners. Unfortunately, the house was rapidly deteriorating with rot and many other problems, so the owners wanted all issues corrected along with a more beautiful and functional design. The weathered cedar shingles, old HVAC system, pitched roof were all swapped out for HardiePlank board and batten, high energy efficient Mitsubishi units, roof top deck and much more. All the interior bedrooms, bathrooms and living spaces were reconfigured for a more modern, functional and entertaining floor plan. Walls were removed, and 2 strong steel support beams were added, to meet the natural flow of daily life. The homeowners were overwhelmed by the outcome of the entire project, especially all the extras, the perfect trim work, and the tidy, considerate crew.
